Submitting a Letter of Inquiry

As the first step in the Coquille Tribal Community Fund application process, the Letter of Inquiry provides an opportunity for grant-seekers to present themselves and their projects to the Fund administrators. This letter should provide enough information to determine whether or not the grant-seeker is eligible for funding and whether or not the project fits within the Fund's scope of giving. A Letter of Inquiry must be received before a grant application will be sent to a grant-seeker.

Grant-seekers are encouraged to submit a Letter of Inquiry by using our
convenient online form. The form has spaces to identify the organization and its purpose, provide contact information and specify the amount of the request. It also includes a space to describe the proposed project. The project description can be no longer than 450 characters including spaces (approximately 70 words), and should explain the community need, what the project will do and how it will meet the community need.

While an online Letter of Inquiry is preferred, grant-seekers who require more lengthy descriptions of their organizations or their projects may submit a Letter of Inquiry by e-mail. The letter should include complete contact information, the name and description of the organization, a description of the project and the amount requested. The e-mail letter can be sent to info@coquilletribalfund.org. If you prefer to mail your Letter of Inquiry please mail it to:
